SNL's opening monologue has always been an awkward piece of the show.
Usually its someone with no real comedy experience who is doing the best that they can but its almost never funny and its something you must sit through to get to the rest of the show. (Unless you recorded it. I love fast forward.)
But Zach Galifianakis did the funniest opening I've seen in a very long while.
